Single-Layered Flexitanks
This flexitank has a single layer made from
Polyethylene (PE) which is 800 microns thick. It differs from the
multi-layered Flexitanks in that it
does not include an outer layer of Polypropylene (PP).

Options include:
| A built-in moisture or gas (according to specification) barrier as a 5th
layer between the PE and the PP. |
| An EVOH barrier film
 | can reach a barrier of < 2.0 cc per square metre per 24 hours |

| A metallised barrier film
| Oxygen permeation: < 1 cc per square metre per 24 hours |
| Water permeation: < 0.5 cc per square metre per 24 hours |
|
| Upgrade from a ball valve to a butterfly valve. Advantage: less
oxygen is trapped behind valve. |
| Bottom-discharge valve |
| Heater mat (hot water or low pressure steam) |
| Remote operated breather hose |
